If only I could explain in words how much I love this witty lyricist. Morrissey has always had a part in my life, even from a young age. My parents met in the eighties and The Smiths were the soundtrack to their high school years. There were always books and DVDs of Morrissey laying around my house (my mom is a secret fangirl shhh). It wasn't until a few years ago when I recognised what an amazing and talented person he was. The words to just about ever song in Hatfull of Hallow spoke to me even though I have never been in love or had any real suffering. His well quiffed, English mannered hair could make peace in the middle east and I may have the gull to say he is one of the best dressed men of the 1980s. As you might have read in one of my earlier posts, I have a rather large shrine to him in my room that includes fake candles and three posters and glow-in-the-dark stars. You might say my fascination has got out of control, but I'm doing just fine thank you!
oh hey there
Can we get married?
Good God is this even legal!?
Oh my you did age gracefully didn't you?
Xxx,
Kit Morrissey
